The Legal Services of the CVCI are at your disposal to advise you, guide you and train you according to your needs.

Information

You can contact us concerning any legal question related to your business activities: labor law, social funds, contracts, corporate law, taxation, etc. We reply to you directly or recommend a specialist. We do not intervene in judicial procedures.

Legal information sheets

Over 160 “Law and business” legal information sheets are available regarding every domain of practical interest for a business especially in the area of labor law.

Labor law courses

We offer a broad range of half-day and full-day labor law courses (consequences of inability to work, overtime, protection of individual rights and mobbing, salaries and compensation, abusive termination and immediate termination, etc.). Three times a year, we present the changes in labor law jurisprudence (Echos des Tribunaux – Echoes from the courts). You can also request a proposal and cost estimate for customized courses to be given at your company, at the CVCI or at any location you choose.

Seminars

Depending on current events and legislative changes, we organize targeted seminars on specific topics, such as taxation, intellectual property or commercial law. We call upon specialists (lawyers, accounting firms, government officials, etc.) according to the subjects treated.

Arbitration and mediation

Settling and prevention of disputes through mediation, conciliation and arbitration.

Conditions

Information and the legal information sheets are reserved exclusively for our members. Courses and seminars are open to all. Members, however, have priority and benefit from preferential prices. Information provided orally or by email that does not require extensive research is free of charge. Proofreading of short simple documents is also free. Other services (legal consultation, writing documents, proofreading of long or complex documents, information involving extensive research) are invoiced according to the time they require at an hourly rate of CHF 200 (all taxes included).
