Social security old age and survivors' insurance / disability insurance / loss-of-income and maternity insurance
Reliable and secure financial health!
Your first pillar with us
The CVCI AVS/AI/APG fund each year covers:
- 5,200 AVS and AI income files
- 153 million francs of contributions collected
- 121 million francs in benefits
Our AVS/AI/APG compensation fund ensures the precise and rigorous execution of all administrative tasks involved in social security old age and survivors' insurance, disability insurance, loss-of-income and maternity insurance:
- The collection of contributions for your entire company
- The payment of benefits prescribed by law to your employees, yourself, your spouse or your children.
For these services, the fund charges a modest fee to the employer, based on the total payroll amount subject to social security contributions according to a precisely calculated schedule.
Affiliation
To join our fund, you must be a member of the Vaud Chamber of commerce and industry (CVCI), our founding association.
Contributions
- Periodic invoicing of the contributions (monthly or quarterly depending on the total payroll amount) based on a flat rate percentage of the entire payroll amount.
- Unless there are great variations, there is no change in this basis during the year.
- We add a modest amount for administrative fees.
- End of year accounting: in December, you receive a list of your employees’ names and their salaries, pre-printed by us (your own list is also accepted). You return it to us by 30 January of the following year, accompanied by a global certification listing all salaried employees who worked during the year. At the latest, 30 days after we receive it, the final accounting for the year will be sent to you.
Federal benefits
- APG maternity insurance
- APG military service and civil protection insurance
- AVS social security income
- AI disability income
- AI daily benefits
Cantonal benefits
- Geneva maternity insurance
Each month with the salaries, you pay the benefits that we have accorded to you. The reimbursement of the benefits paid appears as a deduction on your periodic contribution invoices.

- Membership application for our social funds
- LPP – LAA (Occupational pension funds, also called the 2nd pillar – Accident Insurance) questionnaire

Self-employed persons
With or without salaried employees, your self-employment activity requires affiliation with a social security (AVS) fund. Our fund will examine your right to be self-employed by means of a questionnaire. Once you have completed this first step, you must pay the social contributions for yourself and/or your employees (shared contributions).
