Visit of Medtronic

May 5, 2011 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Don't miss this unique opportunity to visit a member of International Link

Medtronic is pleased to welcome you for a unique visit of its company in Tolochenaz and a special presentation of its activities by Mr. Patrick Rosset, Manufacturing Director.

This will be followed by an apéro in Morges.

Medtronic was founded in 1949 as a medical equipment repair shop by Earl Bakken and his brother-in-law, Palmer Hermundslie. Since then, we've grown into a multinational company that uses technology to transform the way debilitating, chronic diseases are treated.

The inspiration for Medtronic's first pacemaker was a musical metronome.

Their first life-changing therapy – a wearable, battery-powered cardiac pacemaker – was the foundation for dozens more Medtronic therapies that use our electrical stimulation expertise to improve the lives of millions of people.

Over the years, they adapted additional technologies for the human body, including radio frequency therapies, mechanical devices, drug and biologic delivery devices, and diagnostic tools. Today, their technologies are used to treat more than 30 chronic diseases affecting many areas of the body.

We hope you will join us for this exclusive morning of information and discovery about this leading worldwide company.

This will also be an opportunity to exchange with other international and local professionals representing a variety of business backgrounds.

Limited number of participants with priority to members on a first come, first serve basis.
