Getting a local contract

Changing from an expatriate to a local Swiss employment contract or arriving in Switzerland with a local contract will likely involve some changes for you and your family.

You might be wondering about what this implies – for everything ranging from your retirement scheme to the best schooling options for your children.

We can help you successfully manage this transition and answer your questions.

Join us for a whole day workshop that will cover the following topics:

Morning

  • Employment law in Switzerland by CVCI
  • Social security, disability and unemployment insurances in Switzerland by CVCI
  • Pension and Retirement Planning in Switzerland by Credit Suisse
  • Buying property in Switzerland by Credit Suisse

Afternoon

  • Marital Law and Law of Succession by Credit Suisse
  • Swiss income tax by DS Tax Consulting
  • Private Insurances in Switzerland by IBC
  • Living in Switzerland: Schooling, Politics, Economy, Moving Commune, Practical issues by CVCI

Together with the expertise of our partners where applicable, we will provide you with a better understanding of the changes you may face and an overview of the options available to you.  We can also point you to a range of local resources, depending on your individu al situation.

Our aim is to make your transition to a Swiss contract as smooth as possible.

A lunch is also organized between 12h30 and 13h30.

Fee:

  • Fee for Members of International Link including lunch : 150 CHF (for half-day) - 250 CHF (full day)
  • Fee for Non-Members including lunch : 250 CHF (for half-day) - 500 CHF (full day)
