GOSPEL for Kids: an educational and rewarding experience…

Singing in a choir is a highly educational and rewarding experience for a child. The child
discovers his/her voice and how to position himself/herself in a choir. He/she will take
part in the formation of a group and collaborate in the creation of a common project
bearing the values of sharing and unity. Vocal expression, rhythm, and coordination with
others, this activity allows the child to go beyond his/her boundaries and find
assertiveness in strengthening self confidence, reducing anguish, improving
concentration, thereby helping in his/her development.

Singing helps relieve tensions, connect with one’s emotions, become aware of one’s
breath, one’s voice and body; it helps finding new self confidence, reducing anguish and
improving concentration. As the first vocal sound yelled at birth, singing is a vital activity
that instills positive life energy contributing to a healthy development in mind and body
of the child and the adult.

Times:

• 6.30 pm for adults

Workshop fee: Chf 25 kids (7 to 14) / Chf 65 adults
